Greetings, everyone! Welcome to my gallery! I shoot quite a lot – like most people – but I also understand that many of you don’t want to go through every image that I think looks reasonably good. With that in mind, I decided to share a rather limited selection of photographs taken by myself, ranging from fairly early work to my most recent, and making sure they’re some of my very best stuff – the best of me, if you will!

Some of these photographs were taken in Singapore, as I’m sure many of you would recognize. Some of them (most of them, I believe) were taken in various parts of Vietnam – Dalat, Mui Ne, and of course, Saigon – and lastly, a few were taken in Sri Lanka. If there are any other locations, excuse me for leaving them out – I sometimes forget! There are street shots…my favorite ‘type’ of photography…taken in daylight and at night, among landscapes, a (very) few candid portraits, cityscapes, a few architectural shots, and…well, yeah, have a look and see. Don’t forget to leave a comment and let me know what you think about them!

And there you have it! That’s my gallery page! I hope you enjoyed it. Do let me know your thoughts on any of the images, and if you particularly liked a single one (or two)

If you’re wondering what camera/lens combinations were used for these images, and what set-up I used when capturing all of this, know that it’s a very simple Canon DSLR + standard zoom lens used for many of these. For many of the others, I used my old film cameras – my Nikon FM2n and Canon P – while the remaining few were actually captured on a compact camera…my Sony RX100

I mention this to emphasize the fact that the camera does not really matter. At one time, I too thought that photography was all about the camera, and all about the gear, but after some years of shooting, it hit me, as it hits every photographer sometime: the camera doesn’t make that much of a difference. Sure, having a good camera helps…and the quality of your results will be finer than if you used a cheaper one…but in the end, it’s about how you see things, and how you capture it. It’s all about you. If you’re not doing it right, using the most expensive camera in the world will simply get you high quality rubbish, as they say…and nothing more. I’m not saying my shots are all that fantastic, but I just thought this is a good place to drive this rather general point across to you new photographer’s out there!

Well, I’ll wrap up with that. Thanks for viewing!
